TOKYO (AP) -Daisuke Naito of Japan defended his WBC flyweight title Wednesday with a technical knockout of Tomonobu Shimizu. Naito used defense in the early rounds but stopped Shimizu in the 10th round with a flurry of punches for his third title defense. Naito improved to 33-2 with 21 KOs. Also, Takefumi Sakata defended his WBA flyweight title with an unanimous decision over Hiroyuki Hisataka. Sakata improved to 33-4.
